A young Magpies team will head out to Northern Ireland to compete for the silverware at the end of July, and have been drawn in Group C alongside teams from Chile, Japan and the host nation.
United will face the South American side Deportes Iquique in the group stage, along with Japanese outfit Ichifuna and County Down.
Newcastle will be competing in the Premier section of the tournament, 12 months after securing a fourth-place finish in the competition.
Their run to the semi-finals in 2017 included a 9-0 thrashing of Beijing DCFC Morning Star United and a 2-0 triumph over Komazawa Uni, before their hopes of lifting the trophy were ended by eventual champions Right to Dream in the last four.
