Peter Beardsley's boys face the Villans on Monday night

An own goal from David Brezina and a powerful Dan Barlaser strike gave United a 2-1 victory against their Czech opponents six days ago.

It was their first win since August's Checkatrade Trophy success at Crewe Alexandra, but Peter Beardsley's side did begin the season with six points from their opening two games, triumphing 4-3 at Stoke and 4-0 at West Bromwich Albion.

Back in the Midlands, they'll be looking to climb the table after slipping to 11th - but face a Villa side in fourth place, with three wins from their last five games.

With Rafa Benítez's first team in action at Burnley, senior experience is likely to be thin on the ground for Beardsley and Ben Dawson, but Barlaser - who signed a new contract at St. James' Park earlier this month - and Jamie Sterry are expected to feature.Kick-off at Walsall's Banks's Stadium is 7pm (UK time) and admission is £3 for adults and £1 concessions.
