Rafa Benítez has named an unchanged side as Newcastle United go in search of victory against Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon (3pm kick-off).

United take on Roy Hodgson’s side at St. James’ Park, and will line up exactly how they did for last Sunday’s 2-2 Premier League draw at Southampton.

Rob Elliot will start in goal, with DeAndre Yedlin, Jamaal Lascelles, Florian Lejeune and Javier Manquillo making up the back four.

Matt Ritchie and Christian Atsu continue in midfield on the right and left flanks respectively, with Isaac Hayden – who scored his first top flight goal at St. Mary’s last weekend – partnering Jonjo Shelvey in the middle.

And Ayoze Pérez, who also scored against Saints, will provide support for lone frontman Joselu.

There is just one change on the substitutes bench, with Aleksandar Mitrović coming in for the injured Dwight Gayle.

Goalkeeper Karl Darlow and defenders Jesús Gámez and Ciaran Clark are also among the substitutes, while Mohamed Diamé, Mikel Merino and Jacob Murphy are also named on the bench.

Newcastle United (4-4-1-1): Rob Elliot; DeAndre Yedlin, Jamaal Lascelles, Florian Lejeune, Javier Manquillo; Matt Ritchie, Isaac Hayden, Jonjo Shelvey, Christian Atsu; Ayoze Pérez; Joselu.

Substitutes: Karl Darlow, Jesús Gámez, Ciaran Clark, Mohamed Diamé, Mikel Merino, Jacob Murphy, Aleksandar Mitrović.
