Team news from the Vitality Stadium ahead of Saturday evening's showdown on the South Coast

Swedish frontman Isak - whose last league start came against the Cherries at St. James' Park almost five months ago - comes in for Callum Wilson, who has a minor injury, in what is United's only change from the side that drew 1-1 with West Ham last weekend.

Magpies head coach Eddie Howe returns to his former club for the first time since leaving for a second time as manager in 2020, while there is a place on the bench for 16-year-old Lewis Miley, who is named in a top flight squad for the first time.

Nick Pope continues in goal at the Vitality Stadium, with Kieran Trippier, Fabian Schär, Sven Botman and Dan Burn at the back.

Sean Longstaff, Joelinton and Joe Willock line up in midfield, while further forward, Miguel Almirón and Allan Saint-Maximin will look to provide the ammunition for Isak up front.

It will be a memorable day for teenage substitute Miley as he takes his place on the bench alongside Anthony Gordon, Ryan Fraser and Elliot Anderson, with Jacob Murphy another option for Howe.

Defensively, there is backup in the shape of Paul Dummett, Jamal Lewis and Matt Ritchie, with Martin Dúbravka named as well.

Substitutes: Martin Dúbravka, Paul Dummett, Jamal Lewis, Matt Ritchie, Elliot Anderson, Lewis Miley, Jacob Murphy, Ryan Fraser, Anthony Gordon.
