Newcastle United defender Lubomir Satka has agreed a deal with Slovakian club FC DAC 1904.

The 21-year-old, whose Magpies contract runs out at the end of June, will join the Fortuna Liga outfit on a deal which will keep him at the DAC Arena for the next three seasons, with option of a further one.

The move will bring to an end Satka’s five-year spell at St. James’ Park.

The Slovakian centre half joined United from MFK Dubnica in 2012, and progressed through the United ranks before making his first team debut in an FA Cup tie at Leicester City in January 2015.

During his time at Newcastle, Satka was a regular in the Magpies' second-string, while he also spent time out on loan at then-League Two side York City, as well as enjoying a successful stint with DAC during the second half of last season.
