Acclaimed singer-songwriter Sheeran – who headlined this year’s Glastonbury Festival – will take to the stage at St. James’ Park on Friday, 8th June 2018 as part of what is expected to be one of the UK’s biggest tour routings of next year.
The 26-year-old’s concert at the home of the Magpies will be the fourth of his six UK dates, following shows at Belfast’s Boucher Playing Fields, Manchester’s Etihad Stadium and Glasgow’s Hampden Park and preceding a further two dates at Wembley Stadium and a gig at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
Sheeran, whose third studio album ‘÷’ is the best-selling album of 2017 to date, will become the first artist to perform at St. James’ Park since the Kings of Leon in 2014.
Tickets for the event will go on sale on Saturday, 8th July at 10am at www.edsheeran.com. Further information can be found here.
