Tim Robinson will be the man in the middle of Monday afternoon's Sky Bet Championship clash between Ipswich Town and Newcastle United.

The Easter Monday fixture will be the third time Robinson has taken charge of a United game this season, with the West Sussex whistler having also overseen the 2-0 defeat to Wolves back in September and the 2-2 draw with Queens Park Rangers in February - both at St. James' Park.

It is also the third time he has been appointed for an Ipswich game this season. When the Tractor Boys faced Preston at home in August and Aston Villa away in February, Robinson took charge of both fixtures - which ended in 1-0 wins for Mick McCarthy's men.

Robinson has refereed a total of 39 matches so far this campaign, taking charge of Championship, League One, League Two, EFL Cup and Checkatrade Trophy clashes.

In all, he has dished out 170 yellow cards and nine reds - including one to the Magpies' Vurnon Anita during that defeat to Wolves.

Robinson will be assisted at Portman Road by Adam Crysell and Andrew Fox, while Marc Wilson will be the fourth official.
