The Magpies stopper is included on the shortlist for his first half stop from Enzo Fernandez during United's 4-1 victory over Chelsea at St. James' Park last weekend.
The 31-year-old's save from Fernandez - a terrific one-handed intervention to turn the Argentina international's goalbound effort round the post - is one of six stops in contention for the award, along with Guglielmo Vicario of Tottenham Hotspur, Andre Onana of Manchester United and Alisson Becker of Liverpool.
Luton Town's Thomas Kaminski and West Ham's Alphonse Areola are also shortlisted.
Voting opens at 2pm GMT on Thursday, 30th November, and Magpies fans can vote for Pope by clicking here.
