The 24-year-old has enjoyed a superb first full campaign at St. James' Park, netting 20 league goals in 27 games to help fire the Magpies towards a European place for a second successive term.

Since recovering from injury in February, the Sweden international has bagged ten goals in as many games to help keep Eddie Howe's side in the hunt for a Europa League spot as the season reaches its conclusion.

Isak has also been nominated for the top flight's Hublot Young Player of the Season award in recognition of his efforts in the United attack, and only Erling Haaland - who has 25 goals to his name - has outscored him in 2023/24.
