A group of Newcastle United staff have been running 5km every day throughout October as part of Prostate Cancer UK's 'Prostate United' campaign

The charity's annual challenge encourages football clubs to create their own Prostate United team to help raise vital funds and awareness in the battle against the most common cancer suffered by men.

Staff from various departments at the club's Training Centre, including analysis, recruitment, performance, physiotherapy, medical, security and communications have already raised over £2,500 and are hoping to increase that figure as they enter their final week.

Donations can be made via the Newcastle United Prostate United JustGiving page.

Any donations, no matter how big or small, will be greatly appreciated by the team.
