Newcastle United have been drawn away to Blackburn Rovers or Wrexham in the fifth round of this season's FA Cup

The Magpies reached the last 16 for only the second time in 18 years after Saturday's 2-0 win at Fulham, where Sean Longstaff and Dan Burn were on target.

Their reward is a trip to either Blackburn - currently 18th in the Championship and managed by former Magpie Jon Dahl Tomasson - or League Two promotion contenders Wrexham, who include ex-United youngster Ben Tozer and Elliot Lee, son of Rob, among their squad.

Eddie Howe's side beat local rivals Sunderland 3-0 in the third round, with Alexander Isak scoring twice following a Dan Ballard own goal at the Stadium of Light.

Blackburn saw off Cambridge in the third round while Wrexham have knocked out Yeovil and Shrewsbury so far.

The fifth round will be scheduled during the week commencing Monday, 26th February.

The full FA Cup fifth round draw is:

Blackburn Rovers or Wrexham v Newcastle United Chelsea or Aston Villa v Leeds United or Plymouth Argyle AFC Bournemouth v Leicester City Liverpool or Norwich City v Watford or Southampton Bristol City or Nottingham Forest v Newport County or Manchester United Wolverhampton Wanderers v Brighton & Hove Albion Sheffield Wednesday or Coventry City v Maidstone United Luton Town v Manchester City
