A round-up of the weekend's action involving the Magpies' loanees as Yankuba Minteh's encouraging start to his spell with Feyenoord continued

Yankuba Minteh

The Gambian international - who made his Champions League bow for the Dutch side recently - continued his superb run of form in the Eredivisie by netting another goal at the weekend.

His strike against Go Ahead Eagles, which came thanks to some great skill and a neat finish from the 19-year-old, was his third in his last four league games. That was Feyenoord's first goal of the day in first half stoppage time and it ended 3-1 to Arne Slot's men, with Minteh being withdrawn with seven minutes remaining.

Isaac Hayden

Hayden's promising start to life in Belgium continued as Standard Liège won 2-1 at OH Leuven. The midfielder played the first 70 minutes for Les Rouches.

Garang Kuol

Young forward Kuol got another 45 minutes under his belt for FC Volendam in the Netherlands on Saturday, but his side were beaten 3-1 at PSV Eindhoven.

Ryan Fraser

Fraser's Southampton brushed aside their recent inconsistent form to record a 3-1 win at home to Leeds United in the Championship on Saturday, with the Scotland winger appearing as a substitute on the hour mark with the result already pretty much assured.

Full back Lewis was given the full 90 minutes for Watford at Vicarage Road, but Valerien Ismael's men were beaten 3-2 by Championship strugglers Middlesbrough.

Jeff Hendrick

It has been a torrid start to the campaign for Wednesday and that continued on Friday night, with Hendrick playing the full 90 minutes as they were beaten 3-0 at home by Sunderland.

Centre back Watts has forced his way into the Wigan side and he enjoyed another 90-minute outing at the weekend as the Latics were beaten 2-1 by Portsmouth, with the 23-year-old picking up a booking along the way.

Max Thompson

It was an uneventful afternoon for the teenage goalkeeper, as his Northampton Town side won 2-0 at Exeter City with Thompson an unused substitute.

Matty Bondswell

Left back Bondswell entered the fray as a substitute five minutes before the break as Newport County suffered a 2-1 defeat at Salford City in League Two.

White wasn't called upon as Crewe Alexandra drew 3-3 at Wrexham on Saturday as he remained on the sidelines throughout.

Jay Turner-Cooke

There was a 22-minute run-out for Turner-Cooke as St Johnstone drew 1-1 at home to Livingston in the Scottish Premierhsip, though they stay rooted to the bottom of the table.

Cameron Ferguson

Frontman Ferguson wasn't involved in Forfar's 1-1 draw at East Fife in Scottish League Two.
