"It was good that we got the job done," said Langley of the emphatic win in the Vitality Women's FA Cup third round qualifying stage.
"It's a massive confidence lift for the players and staff to keep a clean sheet and score so many goals. It is absolutely superb.
"Overall it was a really good team performance."
The Newcastle boss singled out two of the goalscorers, Katie Barker and Georgia Gibson, for special praise.
"I think the contribution to the game from Katie Barker and Georgia Gibson was absolutely brilliant," she said. "They both performed well, assisting goals as well as getting on the scoresheet."
Daisy Burt also scored her first ever Newcastle goal in Sunday’s win, while Amy Hargrave netted for the first time since returning for a second spell with the club in the summer, with Langley congratulating the duo on their respective achievements.
"I'm delighted for Daisy," she said. "She's a Newcastle girl and she works so hard every week. Her commitment and drive towards getting better is really pleasing and I'm happy it was rewarded with a goal.
"I've worked with Amy Hargrave at Northumbria University for many years and her attitude is spot on. She's a positive girl and a great team member. I'm delighted she got her goal too."
Following the first round proper draw on Monday, Newcastle are set to face Hull City Ladies in the next round of the competition on Sunday, 13th November.
But before that clash, the Lady Magpies have fixtures in the FA Women's National League Division One North to contend with, starting with a match against third-placed Barnsley Women this Sunday.
"We will just be continuing the work we do every week," said Langley. "We consistently plan and make sure we put maximum effort into our preparations.
"I think the Barnsley game has come at a really good time and we are really excited to get another league game under our belt. We know the importance of it, but we will be preparing as we usually do and making sure that we are kicking on, on Sunday."
