The Lady Magpies' number ten scored and assisted yet again on Sunday, as United came from a goal behind to defeat Chorley Women 3-1 away.
Gibson now has 12 goals for the campaign, having notched 22 times last term and following the match at Blainscough Park, Langley heaped praise on the midfielder, citing her influence as a key catalyst for Newcastle's season so far.
"I thought Georgia Gibson in particular was outstanding," the boss told nufc.co.uk after the win.
"She's absolutely thriving. She's been a true leader in the last couple of weeks and she's pushing and she's playing some of the best football I've seen her play in the last three or four years of coaching her.
"I'm really excited for Georgia. She's a top girl, I've got a really good relationship with her, and we just want to make sure that continues."
The Lady Magpies fell behind in the first half but were level before the break when Charlotte Potts headed home Gibson's right-wing corner.
Lauren Robson then slotted home in the second half, before Gibson struck a superb long-range effort deep into injury time to confirm the win.
Newcastle lost away to Chorley in last season's run-in, eventually finishing second in the league and agonisingly missing out on the FA Women's National League Division One North title. Langley was thrilled that her side applied the lessons of the previous campaign to overcome the challenge this term.
"It showed real character from the girls to come from behind," she said. "It showed a real maturity for us from last season.
"It was a game where we dropped points last season away from home and I felt like it meant a lot to the girls to get the three points away at Chorley.
"They've learned from the mistakes we made in the past and managed our emotions well in the second half, which meant we got the three points."
Next up for Newcastle Women is a Kingston Park clash with York City Women, a side Gibson notched against back in November. Kick-off is at 2pm and tickets, priced at £3 for adults and £1 for juniors and concessions, are available to purchase here.
