Internationals. Krafth and Fraser receive international call-ups

Newcastle United duo Emil Krafth and Ryan Fraser have been called up to the Sweden and Scotland squads respectively ahead of October’s international break.

Krafth’s Sweden face back-to-back World Cup qualifiers against Kosovo and Greece, while Fraser’s Scotland will line up against Israel and the Faroe Islands.

Janne Andersson’s Sweden welcome Kosovo to Solna’s Friends Arena for a Group B clash on Saturday, 9th October, with kick-off set for 5pm BST, before another game against Greece at the same venue on Tuesday, 12th October at 7:45pm.

And Steve Clarke’s Scotland have a pair of big fixtures to look forward to as well, with Israel first up at Hampden Park on Saturday, 9th October at 5pm, before a trip to Torshavn for face the Faroe Islands on Tuesday, 12th October at 7:45pm.

Krafth’s side are just four points behind leaders Spain in Group B and also have two games in hand as they bid to secure their place at next year's tournament in Qatar.

Fraser’s Scotland, meanwhile, also sit second in their group, but are currently seven points shy of Group F leaders Denmark.
