Miguel Almirón
Almirón played 90 minutes as Paraguay claimed a shock 2-1 win against World champions Argentina in their respective 2026 World Cup qualifier.
Despite falling behind in the opening stages, courtesy of Lautaro Martinez's strike, goals from Antonio Sanabria and Omar Alderete secured an impressive comeback victory in Asunción.
Then, on Tuesday, La Albirroja drew 2-2 with Bolivia in El Alto, with Almirón scoring on his 64th international appearance. Paraguay had fallen behind but Almirón confidently swept home a leveller in the second half before being replaced with four minutes to go, before his side staged a stoppage-time revival to earn a point.
Bruno Guimarães
The Magpies captain was in action for Brazil on Thursday night, holding Venezuela to a 1-1 away draw in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Venezuela.
The Brazilian midfielder started the contest, which saw Raphinha open the scoring for the visitors, before Telasco Segovia's leveller within a minute of the restart saw the spoils shared.
Guimarães then started for the five-time world champions against Uruguay at the Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Alexander Isak and Emil Krafth
The United pair were both been named in Sweden's squad for their UEFA Nations League double-header against Slovakia and Azerbaijan this month before Krafth withdrew due to injury.
Isak produced a goal and assist as Blågult beat Slovakia 2-1 at the Strawberry Arena, setting up Viktor Gyökeres' opener inside three minutes and, despite Dávid Hancko equalising for the visitors, the Magpies forward netted the eventual match-winner three minutes after the restart, ultimately securing Sweden's automatic promotion to League B.
The frontman then picked up his 50th senior international cap on Tuesday as his side thrashed Azerbaijan 6-0, but didn't quite manage to get on the scoresheet. Isak saw one effort ruled out following a VAR check, before his second half penalty was kept out on a comfortable night for Sweden.
Martin Dúbravka
The 35-year-old goalkeeper reached a half-century of international caps for his country as Slovakia faced Sweden on Saturday night but ended up on the losing side as goals for Gyökeres and Magpies teammate Isak proved the difference in a 2-1 defeat in Stockholm.
The Falcons, who were knocked out of EURO 2024 by England at the last-16 stage, then beat Estonia 1-0 at the Anton Malatinský Stadium on Tuesday, but the United stopper didn't feature in the matchday squad.
Isaac Hayden
Midfielder Hayden represented England at youth level, but won his first senior cap for Jamaica - who are managed by former Newcastle United boss Steve McClaren - in their 1-0 defeat to the USA last week, stepping off the bench at half time and receiving a yellow card in stoppage time.
He then played the full 90 minutes against the same opposition on Tuesday, but the Reggae Boyz suffered a 4-2 defeat in the Concacaf Nations League clash in St. Louis.
Lewis Miley
The Stanley-born midfielder, who recently returned from a metatarsal injury sustained in March, was initially called up for England's Elite League Squad (U20s) ahead of upcoming games against Germany and Poland.
However, after a number of changes to Ben Futcher's squad, the highly-rated 18-year-old was named in the England Under-21s squad for the first time before making his debut during a goalless draw against Spain on Friday, arriving onto the pitch in the 68th minute.
And on Monday evening, Miley was handed his first start at under-21 level when the Young Lions faced the Netherlands at the Yanmar Stadion in Almere. He played 55 minutes for his country before being withdrawn with his side leading 1-0. The game finished 1-1.
Trevan Sanusi, Leo Shahar and Sean Neave
The teenage trio were named in the England Under-18s squad for their upcoming game against Poland on Friday, 15th November (kick-off 11am GMT) at the Oliva Nova Sports Center in Valencia.
All three were involved in a 3-1 defeat against Poland, with Sanusi starting the contest before Neave was handed his England debut at under-18 level, introduced from the bench in the 69th minute. Shahar, who joined the Magpies from hometown club Wolverhampton Wanderers, was an unused substitute.
And on Monday, the trio were on the losing side again as Germany sealed a 1-0 win, with Shahar skippering the side and Neave also lining up from the start. Winger Sanusi was introduced with 24 minutes left, but couldn't help his side find a leveller.
Travis Hernes
The 19-year-old midfielder, who made his professional debut for Shrewsbury Town before joining the Magpies in September 2023, started for Norway Under-20s as they beat Chile 2-1 in a friendly on Monday. He was one of just four players from his side who completed the full 90 minutes.
Anthony Gordon, Tino Livramento and Lewis Hall
Hall, who received his first senior international call-up ahead of the UEFA Nations League clashes against Greece and the Republic of Ireland, made his England debut during a 3-0 away win against the former in Athens.
Introduced at the restart following Ollie Watkins' early opener, the left-back produced a steady 45 minutes while Gordon played the opening 66 minutes before Odysseas' own goal and Curtis Jones' strike sealed an impressive win for the Three Lions, who returned to the summit of League B Group 2.
Livramento - who was initially named in England's under-21 squad - was an unused substitute but the right-back made his senior bow in Sunday's 5-0 win against the Republic of Ireland at Wembley Stadium, gaining his first Three Lions start along with Hall.
Gordon was also named in the starting line-up, with three Newcastle players starting for England for the first time since 1997, and after a goalless first-half, Harry Kane's penalty fired the hosts ahead before the Magpies forward grabbed his first England goal shortly after, latching onto Livramento's cross from the right flank.
Further strikes from Conor Gallagher, Jarrod Bowen and Taylor Hardwood-Bellis sealed England's promotion to League A, with Livramento and Hall both playing the full game while Gordon was substituted in the 75th minute.
Sandro Tonali
The technical Italian, who has produced two assists in his last three outings for the Magpies, scored the only goal of the game as his country defeated Belgium 1-0 in Brussels.
Named in Italy's squad for their upcoming Nations League double-header against Belgium and France, the 24-year-old's close-range tap-in opened the scoring inside 11 minutes as the Azzurri booked their place in the quarter-finals with a game to spare.
Tonali gained his 21st senior cap on Sunday as the EURO 2020 winners suffered a 3-1 defeat against France at the San Siro, with the former AC Milan midfielder playing the full 90 minutes.
Odysseas Vlachodimos
Odysseas, who made his competitive Magpies debut during last month's 1-0 win against AFC Wimbledon in the Carabao Cup, endured a difficult evening with Greece as the former European champions fell to a 3-0 home defeat at the hands of England on Thursday, conceding an unfortunate own goal.
Greece, however, secured a promotion play-off spot on Sunday as Odysseas recorded a clean sheet during a 2-0 win against Finland in Helsinki.
Alex Murphy
The young Irishman, who made his Premier League debut during Newcastle's 4-1 win against Chelsea in November 2023, has been named in Republic of Ireland Under-21s' 24-man squad ahead of two friendly fixtures against Sweden.
The Boys in Green suffered a 2-0 defeat on Thursday, with Murphy playing the full 90 minutes, but claimed a 3-2 win against their Swedish counterparts on Sunday, with the versatile 20-year-old completing the full duration of the friendly fixture in Marbella.
Jamal Lewis
The Luton-born left-back, currently on a season-long loan at Brazilian outfit São Paulo, was named in Northern Ireland's squad for their respective Nations League encounters against Belarus and Luxembourg.
Lewis, however, withdrew from Michael O'Neill's side due to injury and was therefore unavailable for their 2-0 win against Belarus on Friday night at Windsor Park.
Mo Waddani
Celebrating his 17th birthday this month, the teenage midfielder was called up for Libya's under-20 side ahead of the 2024 UNAF Tournament in Ismailia.
Libya's youngsters suffered a 2-1 defeat against faced Tunisia in their opening fixture, with Waddani an unused substitute, but the promising youngster will be hopeful of making his international debut when his country face Egypt, Morocco and Algeria in the remaining matches of a five-team group, with the top two countries qualifying for next year's Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
