It was an eventful night for the Newcastle men, as Nicolas Otamendi's goal handed the visitors the win in a tense battle. Guimarães started the match at the iconic stadium but was withdrawn with 12 minutes remaining, while Joelinton was given a straight red card with nine minutes left - and just nine minutes after coming off the bench - after a push on Rodrigo De Paul.

The two Magpies midfielders were part of the Brazil squad to face Colombia, with Guimarães starting and completing 90 minutes, but Luis Diaz's brace won it for the hosts. Joelinton was an unused substitute.

Centre back McArthur played the full game for Scotland, picking up a yellow card in the process, as a last-minute goal from Malachi Sharpe earned them victory against Serbia while Emerson watched on.

The young duo, who are part of Scotland Under-19s' squad for their EURO 2024 qualifying triple-header, helped Scotland beat Andorra on Saturday, with McArthur skippering the side and Emerson among the substitutes.

Teenager Hall made a second half substitute appearance in this thrilling win over Germany, which was sealed by Charlie Webster's stoppage-time clincher. The Magpies youngster played the final 30 minutes.

On-loan Hall was called into the newly-rebranded England Under-20s squad, now know as the Elite League squad, for their games this month and completed 90 minutes in Doncaster as his side were beaten by Italy.

Krafth enjoyed a full 90-minute outing on Sunday as his side beat Estonia in Stockholm, as they finished third in their EURO 2024 qualifying group in third place behind Austria and Belgium.

Defender Krafth, who made his long-awaited return from a serious knee injury in United's 3-0 Carabao Cup win over Manchester United, was named in the Sweden squad earlier this month - his first call-up since battling his way back from that anterior cruciate ligament rupture in August 2022.

And he made his return to the international fold with a substitute outing on the hour during this disappointing defeat for Sweden, with the defender featuring for the final half hour.

Martin Dúbravka

Dúbravka was an unused substitute as already-qualified Slovakia wrapped up their campaign with a victory in Zenica.

Goalkeeper Dúbravka, who kept a clean sheet in the Carabao Cup against his former loan club Manchester United in his only Magpies appearance of the season so far, started for Slovakia on an eventful night in Bratislava, winning his 41st international cap.

But his side's eventual victory was a significant one - it means they have now booked their place at EURO 2024, where Dúbravka will hope to play in his second major tournament.

Kieran Trippier

The Magpies defender was included in the England squad by Gareth Southgate for their final EURO 2024 qualifiers against Malta and North Macedonia.

Trippier played the full 90 minutes for the Three Lions on Friday night as a Pepe own goal and a Harry Kane strike gave them a 2-0 win over Malta at Wembley, and kept their place at the top of Group C.

He then withdrew from the squad ahead of their trip to North Macedonia on Monday due to a personal matter.

The young goalkeeper was called up by Scotland Under-21s, who play two EURO 2025 qualifiers away from home later this month, but wasn't involved in the first of those - a 2-0 win in Belgium.
