The Toon teenagers, who currently occupy fourth spot in the Under-18 Premier League North, were one of 32 sides to join the competition at the third round stage and the cup tie will take place on home soil, with a date, venue and kick-off time to be confirmed on nufc.co.uk in due course.
The young Magpies have won the competition twice in their history after tasting success in 1962 before a side including Geordie midfielder Paul Gascoigne, lifted the cup in 1985.
Newcastle reached the quarter-finals of the prestigious youth tournament in 2016/17 but their impressive run was ended by Tottenham Hotspur in a 5-3 defeat at St. James’ Park while a Magpies side involving Elliot Anderson reached the last-eight stage four years later before losing out to eventual winners Aston Villa.
