Able to play in midfield and defence, the 20-year-old has regularly captained Newcastle at under-21 level following his arrival from Liverpool in 2020, and signed a new deal with United last summer.
He has been a consistent performer for the Magpies in Premier League 2 this term, as well as facing League One sides Barnsley and Lincoln City in the Papa John's Trophy.
And he will now link up with the Quakers - managed by former Newcastle prospect Alun Armstrong and currently third in the table - for the rest of the campaign.
His debut could come in Tuesday night's game against Southport at Blackwell Meadows.
