The 20-year-old has been with the academy since he was eight and this loan spell marks his first time away from the club. Huntley trained with the first team ahead of the Magpies' UEFA Champions League match away to Paris Saint-Germain in November 2023 and was named on the substitutes bench.

Huntley joins a Spennymoor team that currently sit 12th in the National League North and everyone at the club would like to wish James well for his loan spell.
