The 22-year-old has linked up with the Italian outfit – who are managed by former Magpies coach Fabio Pecchia – for the remainder of the campaign and could make his debut in their league game against Roma on Sunday.
Aarons has made six outings for United in all competitions this season, scoring twice – against Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup and Oldham Athletic in the Checkatrade Trophy.
Since making his debut for Newcastle in 2014, the former England Under-20 international has made 27 appearances for the club, scoring four times in all.
Aarons worked under Verona boss Pecchia during the Italian’s five-month stint on the coaching staff at St. James’ Park in 2016.
