Amber-Keegan Stobbs was destined to don the black and white stripes of Newcastle United from the moment she was born.

Stobbs, whose first name is a product of her father's love for Newcastle United legend Kevin Keegan, is a lifelong fan of the club and arrived in the North East in the summer of 2023 from Women's Championship side Lewes Women. She is the team's on-pitch skipper, with Grace Donnelly the club captain.

Starting her career at Washington Spirit in the United States, the midfielder has a catalogue of experience across numerous divisions, including the Women's Super League, the Championship and the FA Women's National League Southern Premier Division.

She has represented Reading Women, Everton Women, West Ham Women, Charlton Women, Crystal Palace Women, Watford Women and Lewes Women throughout her career before captaining United to FA Women's National League Northern Premier Division title success last term.
