The Newcastle defender will link up with his international team-mates in North Carolina following the Magpies' friendly against Royal Antwerp.

Yedlin, 24, will be one of the most experienced players in an experimental USA squad which features several newcomers.

The Panama fixture will be played at Sahlen's Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary on Tuesday, 27th March. It will be the USA's first game in North Carolina since a 1-1 draw with Jamaica in 2006.
