The 31-year-old forward scored three goals in as many league matches during an unbeaten month in the English top-flight following away draws against West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers, either side of United’s 4-0 win against Crystal Palace at St. James’ Park.
Wilson extended his goal tally to seven for the 2023/24 campaign, scoring against the Eagles before bagging a brace against Wolves at Molineux, becoming the club’s outright third highest goalscorer in the Premier League era.
His recent performances in front of goal have resulted in an international call-up for England ahead of the Three Lions’ Euro 2024 qualifying double-header against Malta and North Macedonia later this month.
