Callum Wilson has already benefitted from Allan Saint-Maximin's flair and ever-improving end product, and the England international forward is looking forward to that relationship developing even more after the Frenchman signed a new, improved contract with Newcastle United this week

Summer arrival Wilson has scored four goals in his opening four Premier League games for the Magpies, including a brace against Burnley a fortnight ago - the first goal set up by Saint-Maximin, who was also on the scoresheet himself that day.

The pair will hope to link up just as effectively when Steve Bruce's side take on Manchester United at St. James' Park on Saturday (kick-off 8pm BST), and Wilson was delighted to see his team mate commit his future to Newcastle for the next six years.

"I think the world's his oyster, really," Wilson told nufc.co.uk. "He's got all the potential in the world and his attitude matches that as well.

"He's quite a quiet, humble guy - he wears some lively clothes at times, but he's a good guy.

"He's still young as well and I think at his age you just want to be as consistent as possible because I guess the key for him is probably not to overdo it at times. He's got all the talent in the world, he can beat a player - sometimes once you've beaten him, get some end product, like he has been doing.

"He makes the game look so easy; for my goal against Burnley, the way he's done a little bit of trickery himself and then just put a ball in the box - great end product, unstoppable, unplayable.

"So the more times he does that, the better he's going be and the higher he's going to go."
