White – who turned 17 last month – signed his first professional contract with the Magpies earlier this week, having joined the Academy from hometown club Carlisle United in 2016.
He has caught the eye for Neil Winskill’s Under-18 side this season and has already made a string of appearances at Under-23 level, too, making his Leasing.com Trophy bow against Macclesfield Town in September.
Now, having been called up by his country for the first time, he will travel down to St. George’s Park next week before heading out to Spain with the rest of Ian Foster’s Young Lions.
All three of England’s games take place at the Pinatar Arena in Murcia, where – coincidentally – the Magpies’ senior side have played in each of the last two campaigns. United took on Royal Antwerp at the end of their Spanish training camp in March 2018, before meeting CSKA Moscow at the same venue earlier this year.
White and his teammates have a two-day interval between each of their matches, starting with a clash against the Russians on Thursday, 14th November. Each game kicks off at 3pm local time (2pm GMT).
