The players will be sporting special T-shirts during their warm-up on Saturday to highlight the campaign, while the Kick It Out logo will also be prevalent inside the stadium throughout the day.
Kick It Out campaigns to tackle all forms of discrimination in football.
The organisation works to raise awareness of the benefits of equality, inclusion, diversity policies and practices in football, as well as exposing and challenging all aspects of discrimination and unfair practices and conduct at all levels of football.
In addition to matchday activities, a Kick It Out tournament will take place on Friday night across seven Premier League Kicks venues in the region and will involve more than 200 young people.
Kicks at Westgate, Ashington, The Parks, Wideopen, St John’s, Gateshead Redheugh and Gateshead FC will all be running in-house tournaments, with eight lucky participants set to be selected to showcase the Kick It Out Flag on the pitch before Saturday’s match.
Newcastle United Foundation community project coordinator, Laura Wilson, said: “Our participants are always hugely keen to support Kick It Out.
“We’re very proud of the diverse group of young people that get involved with our projects.
“Football helps our participants learn about other people’s lives, cultures and religions as well as encouraging tolerance and education to ensure we have a proud community of young footballers that respect each other and celebrate diversity.”

Reporting discrimination
If it is not safe to report an instance of abuse to a nearby steward or police officer, supporters at St. James’ Park can text the word HELP followed by the stand, row and seat of offending supporters, then the nature of the offensive behaviour, to 60070 (charged at your standard network rate) to alert the club instantly.
Supporters can also report any discrimination that they witness using the dedicated Kick It Out app.
Help Newcastle United and Kick It Out to continue the fight to rid the game of ageism, homophobia, disability-related abuse, racism, sexism or any other form of discrimination and download the app from the App Store or via Google Play.
