Dave Watson's youngsters got their Group C play-off fixtures off to a winning start as they won 3-0 against local rivals Sunderland last weekend.
Next, they take on the Baggies (kick-off 2pm) behind closed doors at their training ground in Walsall.
United have already played West Brom twice this season, with the sides drawing 1-1 in the West Midlands back in August before Albion won 2-0 at Little Benton in November.
Leading scorer Lewis McNall is injured but Danish striker Elias Sorensen is in the squad as is Jack Robson, who scored his first goal at this level against the Black Cats last week.
