The Sky Sports cameras will be on Tyneside for the Sky Bet Championship clash and the Gallowgate Flags and Wor Hyem 1892 groups have already made plans to get the ground rocking as millions of potential TV viewers around the world watch on.
Gallowgate Flags, who have been responsible for some stunning scenes already this season, will unveil their biggest and boldest display yet before kick-off, with a giant surfer banner unfurled amongst a sea of smaller flags, banners and scarves.
The display is being supported by Wor Hyem 1892, who are aiming to stimulate yet more deafening vocal support right around the stadium.
Both groups are asking supporters to arrive slightly early than usual and to bring along their scarves, creating yet another dazzling spectacle unique to St. James’ Park.
All displays are fully funded by supporters, who have continued to back the independent Gallowgate Flags initiative with incredible generosity.
