The match will kick-off at 4pm (local time) but with festivities around the stadium getting under way from 1pm, supporters are encouraged to arrive early.
Turnstiles will open at 2:30pm.
About the OPEL ARENA
The OPEL ARENA is located around 4km to the west of Mainz centre.
Opened in 2011 as the Coface Arena, it was renamed in 2016 following a sponsorship agreement with global car manufacturer, Opel - headquartered in nearby Rüsselsheim.
The stadium has a capacity of 34,000 and Newcastle United have been allocated 1,500 tickets for Saturday’s game.
Travelling by train
There is a free bus shuttle service from Mainz Hauptbahnhof (central station) to the OPEL ARENA.
Travelling by bus
Buses can park at the stadium for a fee of 10€. Access is via Koblenzer Straße.
Travelling by car
There is no public parking area at the stadium. Parking spaces are available free of charge at the nearby University (Unicampus). Access is also via Koblenzer Straße.
Payment
Payment at the stadium is only in cash. Credit or debit cards are not accepted.
Please note that there is no ATM in or around the stadium, so please organise cash in advance.
