Becky Langley's side suffered their first league defeat since promotion to the second tier last weekend, when another North East side, Durham, snatched all three points with a late winner at Kingston Park.

But now the Magpies have the chance to put things right with victory at the Stadium of Light, where they will be backed by a sizeable crowd at the home of the Black Cats.
