Eddie Howe has named an unchanged starting XI as Newcastle bid to make it back-to-back Premier League wins by beating Leicester at the King Power Stadium.

Martin Dúbravka continues in goal, with Javier Manquillo, skipper Jamaal Lascelles, Fabian Schär and Jamal Lewis making up the Magpies’ backline. For Lewis, it is a third successive start.

Jonjo Shelvey and Joe Willock again start together in central midfield, with Miguel Almirón, Allan Saint-Maximin, Joelinton and Callum Wilson looking to provide United’s attacking threat.

The Magpies’ list of substitutes is also identical to that named for last week’s win over Burnley, with one exception, as Sean Longstaff drops out for Ryan Fraser.

Six of Newcastle’s starting XI this afternoon also kicked off their 4-2 victory at the King Power in May, a success they could certainly do with emulating this time out.

Newcastle United: Martin Dúbravka, Javier Manquillo, Jamaal Lascelles, Fabian Schär, Jamal Lewis, Jonjo Shelvey, Joe Willock, Miguel Almirón, Allan Saint-Maximin, Joelinton, Callum Wilson.

Substitutes: Karl Darlow, Emil Krafth, Federico Fernández, Jacob Murphy, Matt Ritchie, Isaac Hayden, Jeff Hendrick, Ryan Fraser, Dwight Gayle.
