Newcastle United boss Rafa Benítez has made two changes to his starting line-up for the Magpies’ Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night (8pm kick-off).

Defender DeAndre Yedlin and winger Matt Ritchie both return to the starting 11 for the visitors at Wembley, in place of Javier Manquillo and Jacob Murphy who are both named among the substitutes.

Martin Dúbravka continues in goal, with Yedlin, Jamaal Lascelles, Florian Lejeune and Paul Dummett making up the back four.

Ritchie starts on the right-hand side of midfield, with Jonjo Shelvey partnering Mohamed Diamé in the middle of the park and Kenedy – in the final game of his loan spell with the club – on the left.

And Ayoze Pérez will provide support for Dwight Gayle in attack.

Manquillo and Murphy, who both started last weekend’s defeat at Watford, are options for Benítez to call upon from the bench, along with Karl Darlow, Massadio Haïdara, Isaac Hayden, Mikel Merino and Joselu.

Newcastle United (4-4-1-1): Martin Dúbravka; DeAndre Yedlin, Jamaal Lascelles, Florian Lejeune, Paul Dummett; Matt Ritchie, Jonjo Shelvey, Mohamed Diamé, Kenedy; Ayoze Pérez; Dwight Gayle.

Substitutes: Karl Darlow, Javier Manquillo, Massadio Haïdara, Isaac Hayden, Mikel Merino, Jacob Murphy, Joselu.
