Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe has made three changes to his side for Saturday's Premier League clash at Arsenal, with Loris Karius, Alexander Isak and Tino Livramento named in the Magpies' starting line-up (kick-off 8pm GMT).

The Magpies travel to the capital targeting a third consecutive Premier League away win as well as a first league double over Arsenal since the 1994/95 season and Howe has altered his team as Karius makes his first competitive appearance for the Magpies since last year's Carabao Cup final against Manchester United, replacing Martin Dúbravka who misses out due to illness, with the German goalkeeper set for his first English top-flight outing since May 2018.

Tino Livramento has been handed his first start since the Magpies' league visit to Liverpool on New Years' Day, replacing Dan Burn, while Alexander Isak has recovered from a groin injury to lead the line for the visitors at the Emirates Stadium in place of Harvey Barnes.

Kieran Trippier, Sven Botman, Fabian Schär and Livramento form a four-man defence while the midfield comprises of Bruno Guimarães, Sean Longstaff and Lewis Miley, who was four years old upon Newcastle's last Premier League win away at Arsenal back in November 2010.

Anthony Gordon, who scored the winning goal in the reverse fixture against the Gunners at St. James' Park in November, and Miguel Almirón, set for his 200th United appearance this evening, will aim to provide attacking support for Isak, who has netted ten Premier League goals so far this term.

Joe Willock is named in a Newcastle matchday squad for the first time since November and could be deployed from the substitutes' bench against his former club, with Barnes and Jacob Murphy, celebrating his 29th birthday today, also included.

Matt Ritchie, who scored a stoppage-time equaliser in a 2-2 home draw against AFC Bournemouth last weekend, as well as Burn, Jamaal Lascelles, Emil Krafth and Lewis Hall are among the substitutes as is goalkeeper Mark Gillespie.

Newcastle United: Loris Karius, Kieran Trippier (c), Fabian Schär, Sven Botman, Tino Livramento, Bruno Guimarães, Sean Longstaff, Lewis Miley, Miguel Almirón, Anthony Gordon, Alexander Isak.

Substitutes: Mark Gillespie, Emil Krafth, Dan Burn, Jamaal Lascelles, Lewis Hall, Matt Ritchie, Joe Willock, Harvey Barnes, Jacob Murphy.
