For the first time in five matches, in which Newcastle United are unbeaten, Eddie Howe has made a change to his starting XI

That sees Allan Saint-Maximin replace the suspended Bruno Guimarães, with the Brazilian serving a three-match ban following his red card in Tuesday night's Carabao Cup semi-final victory over Southampton.

Other than that, though, it's the same team that beat the Saints at St. James' Park to reach Wembley and has won four and drawn one of the last five games.

New signing Anthony Gordon is on the bench but Alexander Isak misses out after suffering a head injury in midweek.

Nick Pope, who conceded a goal for the first time since early November in Tuesday's semi-final, starts between the posts, just as he has done in every Premier League game so far this season.

Kieran Trippier captains the side and is at right-back, with Dan Burn at left-back and Fabian Schär and Sven Botman in central defence.

Joelinton is set to drop back into midfield alongside Sean Longstaff and Joe Willock, with Saint-Maximin and Miguel Almirón - making his 150th appearance for the Magpies - supporting main striker Callum Wilson, who has scored nine times in 11 appearances against the Hammers during his career.

Joining Gordon on the bench are Martin Dúbravka, Paul Dummett, Jamal Lewis, Jamaal Lascelles, Matt Ritchie, Jacob Murphy, Ryan Fraser and Elliot Anderson.
