Harvey Barnes could make his Newcastle United bow in their Premier League Summer Series clash with Aston Villa in Philadelphia (kick-off 12am BST)

Barnes completed his move from Leicester City on Sunday and has been named on the bench for the clash at the Lincoln Financial Field by head coach Eddie Howe as he looks to guide his side to a third successive pre-season victory.

Martin Dúbravka will start in goal for the Magpies, with Kieran Trippier, Fabian Schär, Paul Dummett and Matt Targett forming a back four.

Sandro Tonali lines up alongside Bruno Guimarães in the middle of the park, with Elliot Anderson also in the engine room.

And Howe has gone for Jacob Murphy, Miguel Almirón and Alexander Isak in a three-pronged forward line as they look to get the better of their top flight counterparts.

Barnes is among the substitutes, with Sven Botman, Dan Burn, Joelinton, Anthony Gordon and Callum Wilson also named.

Loris Karius and Karl Darlow provide goalkeeping backup, with Jamaal Lascelles, Matt Ritchie, Harrison Ashby and Javier Manquillo included as defensive reinforcements.

Youngsters Lewis Miley, Ben Parkinson and Jay Turner-Cooke complete the list of substitutes Howe may elect to call upon against Unai Emery's side.
