Eddie Howe has made five changes for Newcastle United's Premier League visit of Wolverhampton Wanderers (kick-off 4.30pm GMT) as the Magpies look to record a first victory in five league games

Alexander Isak, Allan Saint-Maximin, Jacob Murphy, Joe Willock and Fabian Schär come into the starting XI for the clash with Julen Lopetegui's side.

Joelinton is suspended while Anthony Gordon has an ankle injury; Jamaal Lascelles, Miguel Almirón and Callum Wilson all drop to the bench.

Nick Pope starts in goal with Kieran Trippier taking the captain's armband from Lascelles, who is replaced by Schär. Sven Botman partners him at centre-back, with Dan Burn at left-back.

Willock joins Bruno Guimarães and Sean Longstaff in midfield, while the front three is completely changed from last weekend's defeat to champions Manchester City with Isak flanked by Murphy and Saint-Maximin, who is celebrating his 26th birthday. The Frenchman scored a superb late equaliser against Wolves at Molineux in August.

Alongside Wilson, Almirón and Lascelles on the bench are Javier Manquillo, Matt Targett, Paul Dummett, Matt Ritchie and Elliot Anderson, with Martin Dúbravka the substitute goalkeeper.
