Team news from Stamford Bridge ahead of Sunday's final game of 2022/23

The Slovakian comes in for the injured Nick Pope between the posts as United bring the curtain down on 2022/23 at Stamford Bridge, with Matt Targett, Anthony Gordon and Allan Saint-Maximin all in the line-up too as the Magpies look to round off a fine season with victory in the capital.

Kieran Trippier, Fabian Schär, Sven Botman and Targett form a back four in front of Dúbravka, with Elliot Anderson and Bruno Guimarães in the middle of the park.

There are is plenty of firepower in the Newcastle team for the game against Frank Lampard's men, with Gordon, Miguel Almirón and Saint-Maximin all named and Alexander Isak set to lead the line.

There could be a couple of United debuts handed out should Harrison Ashby and Lewis Miley make it off the bench, while Paul Dummett, Jamal Lewis and Dan Burn are also named.

Jacob Murphy and Callum Wilson provide offensive reinforcements, with goalkeepers Loris Karius and Mark Gillespie also among the substitutes.
