Stoke City's under-18s came from behind to beat Dave Watson's Newcastle at the Potters' Clayton Wood training ground on Saturday.

Stoke City's under-18s came from behind to beat Dave Watson's Newcastle at the Potters' Clayton Wood training ground on Saturday.

The hosts went in front through Jordan Greenidge but Mackenzie Heaney equalised and Matty Longstaff fired United in front before the half-hour mark.

However, Harvey Read equalised before Greenidge got his second and Stoke's third in the 63rd minute.

Two minutes later, Lewis Cass scored an own goal then Greenidge completed his hat-trick in the 88th minute.

Watson will hope to welcome back key defenders Lewis Gibson and Owen Bailey when they entertain Manchester United at Little Benton on Saturday, 12th November.
