The 20-year-old has linked up with Stanley ahead of their home game against Scunthorpe United tomorrow, and will remain at the Wham Stadium until the end of the season.
It is the first loan spell of Durham-born Charman’s career, and he will join fellow Magpie Dan Barlaser – who is on loan at Accrington until January – in John Coleman’s squad.
Charman made 26 appearances for United’s under-23 side last season, scoring 14 goals.
The frontman has featured in all three of the Magpies’ second string fixtures so far this term, bagging a brace in the 5-0 rout of Sunderland at St. James’ Park earlier this month.
