Born and raised in North Shields, Sam will be back at the home of his beloved Newcastle United for performances on Thursday, 12th June, Saturday, 14th June and Sunday, 15th June 2025 - two years after two sensational sold-out homecoming shows at the 52,000-capacity stadium.
The tour marks the release of Sam's third studio album, People Watching, which will be available from 21st February 2025. It follows the critically acclaimed, platinum-selling Hypersonic Missiles and Seventeen Going Under.
The People Watching Tour kicks off in Dublin in December and includes dates across the UK. A series of performances in major cities across Europe and North America will follow in 2025, culminating in the St. James' Park shows and a performance at the London Stadium.
Newcastle United CEO, Darren Eales, said: "It's fantastic to be welcoming Sam Fender back to St. James' Park in 2025 for what promises to be another amazing spectacle.
"We have fond memories of those incredible performances by Sam and his band back in June 2023 and we know tickets will be in high demand again.
"I'd like to thank our internal teams and city partners for collaborating so brilliantly to secure these shows, and also promoters Kilimanjaro Live who will be promoting their 6th and 7th shows at St. James' Park having worked on previous performances by Ed Sheeran and Sam Fender.
"As well as bringing Sam home, where he is so loved, the shows will help us to continue growing as a club and will have a significant economic benefit to the city and wider region."
Peter Silverstone, Newcastle United's Chief Commercial Officer, said: "St. James' Park has become an iconic music venue in the North, as anyone who was here for Sam Fender's performances in 2023 will testify.
"Those shows were unforgettable, and they exemplify the type of premium events we want to continue attracting to the stadium alongside elite football.
“We are so excited for packed St. James' Park crowds to experience Sam's new People Watching Tour and are delighted to be collaborating with Sam, and his band and management team, to bring such incredible events to the city of Newcastle.
"We are building on an impressive legacy of hosting world-class events, whether it's huge music artists, Magic Weekend, World Cup rugby across both codes, and international football - including the next Euros in 2028.
"Our location in the heart of the city and connectivity to the transport network are key. All fans just love coming to Newcastle, and we can't wait to welcome them back."
