The Senegal international midfielder will stay with Yeşil Timsahlar (Green Crocodiles) for the duration of the 2018/19 campaign.

He spent the second half of last term with their Süper Lig rivals Sivasspor, having been loaned out to French side St. Etienne the season before that.

Saivet, 27, joined Newcastle from Bordeaux in January 2016 but has made just eight appearances for the Magpies, scoring once in last season's win at West Ham.
