The former Bournemouth winger clocked up his century in the 2-0 win over Burnley at St. James’ Park last month, and has been presented with a commemorative award to mark the milestone.

Since the 2017/18 season, Premier League Milestones, in association with Cadbury, have been awarded to players who have reached 100, 200 and 300 appearances in England’s top division, with each recipient being given a medallion and a plaque to honour the achievement.

Twenty-nine-year-old Ritchie made his Premier League bow for his first club Portsmouth in April 2010, before netting his first goal in the division during his time with the Cherries in September 2015.

After making the switch to St. James’ Park in the summer of 2016, Ritchie has played 118 times for the Magpies, with 64 of those coming in the top flight. In all, the winger has made 103 Premier League appearances, scoring nine goals – including five for United and one in his most recent outing, against former club Bournemouth.
