The Wiltshire-based whistler has taken charge of three Magpies games so far this season.

He was the man in the middle when United lost to Fulham on the opening day of the campaign, and also refereed the home fixture against Brentford and the away game at Wigan.

In total, he's overseen 35 matches in all competitions this term, showing 129 yellow cards and just two red.

On Saturday, he will be assisted by Akil Howson and Christopher Akers. The fourth official will be David Coote.
