The new season is scheduled to get up and running on 12th September and end on 23rd May, with no winter break taking place.
There is a little less distance for Steve Bruce and his players to cover this term, with relegated trio AFC Bournemouth, Norwich City and Watford having been replaced by Leeds United, West Bromwich Albion and Fulham.
Back in the top flight after a 16-year absence, Leeds cruised to the Championship title last time out under Argentine boss Marcelo Bielsa. West Brom, meanwhile, return to the Premier League after two seasons away while Fulham – managed by ex-Magpies midfielder Scott Parker – won promotion at the first time of asking after their relegation in 2018/19.
All of United’s fixtures will be announced on nufc.co.uk as soon as they are out.
