United's youngsters will fly out to Spain on Tuesday, 12th July for a six-day training camp, facing La Liga outfit Elche on Saturday, 16th July.
The game will take place at the 3,500-capacity Pinatar Arena near Murcia, a venue in which United's first-team completed friendlies against CSKA Moscow and Royal Antwerp at in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Kick-off is set for 7pm local time.
Elliott Dickman's side will then face an away trip to Blackburn on Wednesday, 20th July (kick-off 2pm BST), playing at Rovers' Academy, before hosting their Sheffield United counterparts at Newcastle's Little Benton Academy on Wednesday, 27th July (kick-off 1pm BST).
From the start of the 2022/23 season, Premier League 2 will become an under-21 competition.
Therefore, the amendment to the age limit, which was previously under-23, has been introduced as part of an ongoing review of the Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP) to better align with the EFL Trophy and international competitions.
