Both players bring with them a wealth of experience in the FA Women's Championship, with Milne-Redhead having previously plied her trade for Coventry United Women and Pizzarello arriving from Lewes Women.
Milne-Redhead has also spent time with Manchester City and Manchester United's youth systems, as well as representing Scotland at youth level, making the 20-year-old a key addition to the Lady Magpies' squad.
Upon signing, she said: "I'm really excited to join Newcastle United. It's an unbelievable club and I've been extremely impressed with both the professionalism and the ambition that everyone associated with the club has shown. Since my first meeting with Becky (Langley), I have been made to feel at home and I'm really excited to kick on and help the team get promoted.
"I aim to be able to bring my experience from the FA Championship to help get Newcastle to where they belong."
Pizzarello, on the other hand, has valuable international experience, representing Gibraltar. The 25-year-old also plied her trade in Spain before arriving in England in September.
She expressed her delight after putting pen to paper for the Lady Magpies.
"I'm extremely grateful to be a part of Newcastle United," she said. "To get the opportunity to fight alongside the team in reaching the top of the table at the end of the season is amazing. I can't wait to get started."
Upon the duo's acquisition, manager Becky Langley said: "I am very happy about recruiting both Cara and Charlyann. They both bring experience from the Championship, and this will only help bolster the Newcastle Women's squad, as they have experience from two leagues higher.
"The girls have been training with us for the last three weeks and I'm really excited to see them hit the ground running in a Newcastle shirt."
The arrivals - both subject to final confirmation from the Football Association - are a statement of intent from United as the Lady Magpies look to capitalise on their positive start to the 2022/23 campaign.
