DeAndre Yedlin has been named in the Newcastle United starting XI for this afternoon's visit of Ipswich Town.

The USA international replaces Vurnon Anita at right-back for the 3pm kick-off at St. James' Park, while Ayoze Perez comes in for Mohamed Diame and Jack Colback is preferred to Isaac Hayden.

It will be Yedlin's third league start for the Magpies, who he joined from Tottenham in the summer, and his first since the 4-3 win over Norwich in September. Perez and Colback, meanwhile, were rotated out of the side for United's midweek at Barnsley, having both started in the 3-1 win against Brentford seven days ago.

Since their opening day defeat at Fulham, Newcastle have won all ten of the games Colback has appeared in this season.Karl Darlow is in goal, behind a defence of Yedlin, Jamaal Lascelles, Ciaran Clark and Paul Dummett.

Colback partners Jonjo Shelvey in midfield while Matt Ritchie, Perez and Yoan Gouffran support main striker Dwight Gayle, who hit his tenth and 11th goals of the season against Barnsley.

Chancel Mbemba returns to the bench. The other substitutes are Anita, Hayden, Diame, goalkeeper Matz Sels, Christian Atsu and Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Former Newcastle striker Leon Best starts for Ipswich, who have also made three changes - all in midfield - to the side which beat Burton in midweek.
