Newcastle United Women will kick off preparations for the 'Sela Cup, presented by Visit Malta' weekend with a free family open day at Kingston Park on Tuesday, 1st August

The open day will give fans an exclusive chance to meet the players, as well as watching Becky Langley's side - featuring eight new signings - being put through their paces in a training session.

Taking place from 11am - 5pm (final entry 1pm), the event will feature an autograph session with the Magpies' women's team before open training between 2pm - 3:30pm, with a host of events and attractions either side for supporters of all ages.

In addition to live Q&As with NUW players, hosted by Justin Lockwood on a concourse stage, there will be football activities including a 'panna' cage, shot speed test, table football and five-a-side football adjacent to the Main Stand.

There will also be face painting, a shirt giveaway, an esports area and an opportunity to purchase a season ticket for the Magpies' FA Women's National League Premier Division campaign, and a live screening of England v China in the Women's World Cup from 12pm.

Tickets for the event are FREE and can be purchased here.
