Newcastle United Women will release eleven players this summer following the expiry of their contracts.

Becky Langley's side made it back-to-back promotions by securing the FA Women's National League Northern Premier Division title in April and will play in the Barclays Women's Championship - the second tier of women's football - next season.

Planning is already under way for the 2024/25 campaign, which kicks off on the weekend of Saturday 7th September. As a Championship side, the Magpies will come up against local rivals Sunderland and Durham, as well as recently relegated Women's Super League side Bristol City.

Following the conclusion of the 2023/24 season, the following players will be leaving the club:

Paige Bailey-Gayle

Naomi Bedeau

Grace Boyes

Tyler Dodds

Bridget Galloway

Cara Milne-Redhead

Erin Nelson

Keira Skelton

Anna Soulsby

Sharna Wilkinson

Lilie Woods

Becky Langley said: "I want to thank the players for the part they have played in our journey. They have contributed to some incredible moments and memories, and we simply couldn't have made the rapid progress we have without them.

"We wish the girls the best of luck with the next step in their careers."
